The Best Email We’ve Ever Received

We recently received the below email. It made us laugh so much, we just had to share it.

“I’m afraid this e-mail is not one of praise, so brace yourselves.
Last Friday, I was enjoying a rare day off work and making the most of it by attempting some DIY, after several hours of drilling, screwing and swearing profusely I decided to finish whilst I still had most of my digits in place. Upon finishing I realised I had built up quite a thirst (probably from all the muttering and swearing), so I went to retrieve a cool refreshing can of Pepsi (sorry) BUT!!! to my horror AAAAAARRRGGGHH, I’d run out, my world crumbled around me, what the hell was I supposed to drink now? A cuppa? Nope, too hot to drink quickly; water from the tap UUUURRRGH, who the hell wants that flavourless, sugarless crap. “BOY!” I shouted, “we’re going shopping”. We began the trek to our local shopping high street, some 1/2 mile away. Damn, could I make the voyage whilst already thirsty, would I collapse in the street to be discovered years later by a random dog walker? The tension was overwhelming. Anyhoo, some 10 mins later we arrived, we eyed the scene, there was old people everywhere aimlessly wandering around like a scene from a zombie film, the smell of lavender was horrendous, damn, it was market day. We headed for our local B+M store, not the most prestigious shop in the street but a stockist of pepsi nonetheless, but yet again….no pepsi, AAAARRRRGGGHH, why god, why me, I fell to my knees with hands clasped together and prayed for sweet heavenly help whilst tears streamed from my eyes, (I didn’t really, it’s just in for dramatic content – I just swore a lot.) As I wiped the imaginary tears from my eyes the boy spoke up. “Daaad, there’s this one,” he held aloft an unusually coloured can of pop, Hmmmm I thought, what the hell is he on about now?
He handed me a can of RC Cola, What the… I’m not drinking that stuff, but as I scanned the shelves I realised it was my only salvation, apart from coke (but that gives me a bad tummy and doesn’t taste very nice), more swearing and muttering took place. I begrudgingly took 2 cans from the shelf and headed for the checkout which are usually manned by over tanned bimbos more interested in hairdos and make up than customer service (which annoys me). As we exited the shop we paused (which annoyed old people) to drink our prize, as I savoured the cool liquid I thought to myself, Hmmm this doesn’t taste funny, I stopped drinking (probably due to the fact I was running low on air), I examined the can then glanced to the boy, “whadya’ think??”, “better than I thought it’d be”, “yeah, me too”. We finished the cans, strange thoughts passed through my normally angry mind, a peculiar sense of satisfaction and calm washed over me.
So, I would like to complain, that I’m further annoyed by the fact that after years of drinking pepsi I seem to be wanting to drink more of your annoyingly tasty cola AND the fact that the boy chose something that I like, which I found annoying (strangely).

EXCITING NEWS!!!! We are very proud to announce that we are producing a SPECIAL EDITION version of RC Cola for Halloween. The RC DRA-COLA will be hitting 217 ASDA stores in the Halloween aisle from 29th September until stocks last.

We’ve even gone and made the label Glow In The Dark, when you have your bottle just hold it up to the light, charge it and then go somewhere very dark and spooky to see what happens.
